Nicole Thompson

My name is Nicole Thompson. I am currently a UMUC Asian Division student. My goal is to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I am participating in a Death and Dying psychology course class project called Fighting The Fire For Freedom. Our group is a "Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team". Our goal is to provide a treatment curriculum for the firefighters who survived the dreadful events of September 11th. The firefighters on that day were one of many individuals that were called into their line of duty. Even though most survived the horrific event, they experienced the tragic loss of their fellow firefighters. Our program is designed to offer a treatment plan in order to help those courageous individuals to continue their tasks. Thank you to all of those brave men and women out there, you truly are our heroes.
