Dorothea Adams
My name is Thea Adams, I'm participating in the project, Fighting The Fire For Freedom,
as part of a psychology class. The class deals with the topic of death and dying, and is
thus indirectly linked to the work of rescue workers. The September 11th horrible terrorism
attack has once again revealed that both the victim and the rescue workers suffers terrible
losses. Especially the loss of a coworker can be a traumatic experience and its aftermath
may linger on long after the actual accident side has been cleared. In order for people to be
effective in their demanding jobs and stay alert it is of imperative importance that they be
coached through the rough times. This web page is designed to help rescue workers to
better cope with their experiences and keep them alert and trained to keep up the super
jobs they do every day all over again.
